BETTER PROTECTION FOR YOUR PROTECTED AREAS
NO SIMPLE PASSWORDS
Statistics show that very often we make our passwords too simple and predictable. However, it is much easier for us to remember common terms such as names, places, dates or certain idioms etc.
To make these passwords even more 'secure', we add capital letters, numbers and/or symbols. But even for such a password like S4nfr4n it takes only 639 milliseconds to guess it.
A PASSPHRASE IS SECURE
Modern computers can make between 10,000 and 350 billion calls per second for password guessing. But for a passphrase with, say, four randomly selected words, it takes about 6,000,126 centuries to crack it.
To secure your protected area on your website, use the module 'Random Passphrase', which can be easily installed and activated on any web space. To further increase security, the 'Random Passphrase' module generates a new random passphrase for each session (access to your website), which is sent to the user of the registered e-mail address. This passphrase is only valid for this requested visit (session), is stored encrypted in the system for this time and is then deleted.
Of course, the permitted e-mail addresses are configured in the administration and stored in encrypted form. You can also define a time window in which access should be possible. And you do not need to remember any further passwords.
